Set your oven to 325°F and grease a loaf pan that's 8½ x 4½ inches in size.

Grab a big bowl and whisk together the melted butter and honey. Mix in the eggs, bananas, milk, and vanilla until it’s all smooth.

In a smaller bowl, stir the flour, salt, and baking soda together.

Pour the wet ingredients over the dry mix. Stir gently just until everything comes together—don’t overdo it.

Put the batter in your greased pan and add some toppings if you'd like. For banana slices, cut lengthwise and place them cut-side facing up on top.

Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes. It’s ready when a toothpick poked in the middle comes out clean.

Let it sit in the pan to cool for about 15 minutes. Then move the bread to a wire rack to cool fully (wait about half an hour at least before cutting).
