Beef Rotini Cream (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef.
02 - 1 teaspoon Italian herbs.
03 - 3 minced garlic cloves.
04 - 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil.
05 - 12 ounces rotini pasta.
06 - Fresh parsley for topping.
07 - 1 cup Parmesan, shredded.
08 - 2 cups milk.
09 - 2 tablespoons flour.
10 - Salt and black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil rotini in salted water. Before draining, save 1 cup of that water.
02 - On medium-high heat, cook the beef in butter for 5-7 minutes. Drain the grease.
03 - Add garlic to the beef and stir for about 60 seconds till it's aromatic.
04 - Sprinkle flour over the beef, then slowly pour in the milk. Let it simmer till it thickens.
05 - Stir in cheese and seasonings until smooth. Combine with pasta, and use the reserved water if the sauce seems too thick.

# Notes:

01 - Ground turkey works great instead of beef.
02 - Use some pasta water to fix a thick sauce.
03 - Extra cheese on top? Always a win.
