Brunch Hash Brown Quiche (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
02 - 4 cups of thawed hash browns

→ Filling

03 - 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
04 - A cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mixed)
05 - 1 cup of heavy cream
06 - 8 large eggs
07 - Cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon (1/2 cup, optional)
08 - Salt and pepper, season to your taste

→ Garnish

09 - Fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) to preheat it.
02 - Combine the hash browns and melted butter in a big bowl. Press this into a greased 9-inch springform pan, covering both the bottom and sides. Bake for about 20 minutes till it's golden and crispy.
03 - Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, pepper, and salt all together in a bowl until smooth.
04 - Once your crust has baked and cooled a bit, sprinkle the shredded cheese over it. Add bacon or sausage if you'd like. Pour the creamy egg mix on top, then sprinkle the chopped green onions.
05 - Pop it back into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. It's ready when the egg is firm and the top has a nice golden hue.
06 - Let it rest for a few minutes before you take the pan's sides off. Sprinkle some fresh herbs on top and serve it while it's warm.

# Notes:

01 - A springform pan makes it super simple to get the quiche out, keeping everything looking great.
