09 - Vegetable oil (for frying) or cooking spray (for baking)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut each mozzarella stick into 3 equal pieces. Place them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
02 - In separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and the combined breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt.
03 - Dip each frozen cheese piece into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust. Freeze for 15-20 minutes.
04 - Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry in batches for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
05 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange cheese bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
06 - Serve hot with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture for a spicy kick.
02 - Double-coat for extra crunch: Dip the cheese bites twice in the egg and breadcrumb mixture for an extra crispy coating.
03 - Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but you can refrigerate leftover bites for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for crispiness.
