Effortless Chili Beef Brussels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main components

01 - Shredded brussels sprouts, 1 pound (450 grams)
02 - Green onions, chopped thin, about 1/3 cup (35 grams)
03 - Lean ground beef, 450 grams

→ Seasonings and sauces

04 - Kosher salt (add as much as you like)
05 - Sweet chili sauce, 1/2 cup (120 milliliters)
06 - Ground black pepper, as much as you want
07 - Sesame seeds to sprinkle (optional)
08 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil
09 - Low sodium soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
10 - Garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon
11 - Juice from half a lime
12 - Sriracha, 1 teaspoon (skip if you don’t want spice)

# Instructions:

01 - Top it with sesame seeds at the end. Dish it up warm. If you want, scoop it over some fluffy steamed rice or anything you like.
02 - Toss that beef back in the pan. Mix in sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Stir till it’s all coated and hot.
03 - In that same pan, toss in avocado oil. Dump in the brussels sprouts. Salt and pepper them up. Fry until they’re soft and look a little browned, which takes about five to seven minutes.
04 - Start by tossing your ground beef into a big skillet over medium. Break it up while it cooks. Add soy sauce, green onions, garlic powder, black pepper, sriracha, and a bit of salt. Keep stirring until it isn’t pink anymore, then move it all to another plate.

# Notes:

01 - If you let the brussels sprouts get super browned, everything ends up tasting even better.
