Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Footballs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Dough Base

01 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature (168g)
02 - 3/4 cup light brown sugar (158g)
03 - 1/4 cup sugar (52g)
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
05 - 2 cups all-purpose flour, heat-treated (260g)
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
07 - 1-2 tablespoons water, if needed
08 - 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips (211g)

→ Coating & Decoration

09 - 16 ounces chocolate melting chocolate
10 - 3 ounces white melting chocolate

# Instructions:

01 - Cream butter and sugars in a large mixer bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Mix in vanilla extract.
02 - Add flour and salt, mixing until combined. Add water as needed. Fold in chocolate chips until uniform.
03 - Using a 1½ tablespoon cookie scoop, portion dough and shape into football shapes with your fingers. Place on a plate or cookie sheet.
04 - Refrigerate shaped footballs for 1-2 hours until firm.
05 - Dip chilled footballs in melted chocolate using a toothpick. Let set on parchment paper. Pipe white chocolate laces for decoration.
