Effortless Creamy Cranberry Apple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Coleslaw Base

01 - 0.25 cup sliced pecans or almonds
02 - 0.25 cup shredded carrots
03 - 0.5 cup dried cranberries
04 - 1 large Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apple, sliced thin
05 - 4 cups chopped green cabbage

→ Dressing

06 - Salt and black pepper, just enough
07 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
08 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
09 - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
10 - 0.5 cup mayonnaise

# Instructions:

01 - Pop your slaw in the fridge for 30 minutes with the lid on. This makes everything taste way better when it's nice and cold.
02 - Drizzle that mayo dressing all over the veggie-fruit mix, then toss it all together until every piece gets some dressing.
03 - Grab a small bowl and mix up the mayo, vinegar, mustard, honey or maple, plus a little salt and pepper. Whisk it till it looks creamy and smooth.
04 - In your big bowl, put in all your cabbage, apple slices, dried cranberries, shredded carrots, and nuts.

# Notes:

01 - You can throw this together the day before. Just give it a big stir before you dig in so the dressing mixes through again.
02 - Need dairy-free? Swap your regular mayo for plant-based instead.
03 - Add some fresh pop with a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of orange zest.
04 - Red onion or sunflower seeds can go in for extra crunch and kick.
