Easy Salisbury Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 500g (1 lb) minced beef.
02 - Half an onion, shredded.
03 - A half-cup of panko crumbs.
04 - 1 minced garlic clove.
05 - 1 whole egg.
06 - Ketchup, 2 tablespoons.
07 - A single beef stock cube.
08 - Worcestershire sauce—half a teaspoon.
09 - Mustard, dijon—3 teaspoons.
10 - 150g (5 oz) of mushrooms.
11 - Butter, 2 tablespoons.
12 - 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
13 - 2 cups of beef stock.
14 - Extra mustard and Worcestershire for your gravy.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the onion onto the breadcrumbs and let it rest. Stir in the other patty ingredients until it's kind of sticky.
02 - Firmly press the mix into five oval burger shapes, each around 3/4-inch in thickness.
03 - Sear each patty for a minute on both sides until golden. Pull them out of the pan.
04 - Sauté mushrooms, garlic, and onions. Mix butter and flour to make a paste, then whisk in broth and sauces.
05 - Simmer patties in the gravy for about 5-7 minutes until thick and cooked through.

# Notes:

01 - Shredded onions make the patties soft.
02 - Mix the meat thoroughly to improve the texture.
03 - Goes great with mashed potatoes.
