Fried Feta Chili Honey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Phyllo Wraps

01 - 8 oz of feta cheese, shaped into small sticks
02 - 1/4 cup of butter, melted
03 - 1 pack of phyllo dough, defrosted

→ Spicy Honey

04 - 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
05 - 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
06 - 1/2 cup of honey

→ Optional Toppings

07 - Finely chopped fresh parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cover a baking tray with non-stick parchment paper.
02 - Spread a sheet of phyllo on a flat surface and lightly brush melted butter over it. Repeat this step with 3 more sheets, layering them on top of each other.
03 - Slice the stacked phyllo into 3-inch-wide strips. Place one piece of feta at the end of each strip.
04 - Wrap the phyllo around the cheese, folding in the edges tightly as you go, so it forms a neat little roll. Place these on the baking tray seam-down.
05 - Brush the tops of all rolls with butter again, then bake for roughly 20-25 minutes or until they're golden and crispy.
06 - As the rolls bake, gently heat the honey in a saucepan on low. Mix in the chili flakes and the apple cider vinegar until combined.
07 - Drizzle the warm spicy honey over the rolls after baking. Add parsley on top, if you like, and enjoy while they’re still warm!

# Notes:

01 - Want extra crunch? Sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top before they go in the oven.
02 - Use smoked paprika instead of chili flakes for a less intense heat.
03 - Mix cream cheese with feta if you prefer a softer filling.
