Fudgy Double Chocolate Muffins (Print Version)

01 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1/2 cup sugar
03 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 eggs
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
09 - 1/4 cup cocoa powder
10 - 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
11 - 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
12 - 1 cup chocolate chips (any type)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a muffin tray with paper liners.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla, eggs, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
03 - Slowly add cocoa powder and mix until combined. Add flour and sour cream, mixing until just combined.
04 - Fold in chocolate chips (reserve a few for topping).
05 - Pour batter about 3/4 full into prepared muffin tray. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 17-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
06 - Remove from oven and let cool for 3-5 minutes before removing from tray.
