Hot Honey Feta Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken prep

01 - 4 chicken breasts, no bones
02 - 1 tsp garlic powder
03 - 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
04 - 1/2 tsp salt
05 - 1 tbsp olive oil
06 - 1 tsp paprika

→ Toppings

07 - 3 tbsp spicy honey (store-bought or homemade)
08 - Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
09 - 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Put parchment paper on a baking tray to stop sticking and make clean-up faster.
02 - Pour olive oil over the chicken breasts in a big bowl. Toss them with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until both sides are fully coated. Go heavy on the seasoning—it adds all the flavor!
03 - Warm up a large skillet on medium-high. Put the chicken in when hot and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until you have a nice golden crust. Don’t skip this step for crispy edges!
04 - Move the skillet-seared chicken to the prepared baking tray. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until done. Use a thermometer to check—it should read 165°F (75°C) inside.
05 - Once the chicken’s out of the oven, keep it on the tray. Pour the spicy honey generously on top, then scatter the feta crumbles over each piece.
06 - Pop the tray back into the oven for 5 minutes or so. Let the honey caramelize and the feta get soft with a little bubbling around the edges.
07 - Take the tray out and let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle parsley on top for freshness and color. Serve hot and dig in!

# Notes:

01 - To make your own spicy honey, heat up 1/2 cup of honey with 1-2 teaspoons of chili flakes.
02 - For juicier chicken, pound the breasts to the same thickness before cooking.
03 - This dish pairs great with roasted veggies or a fresh salad.
