Peach Raspberry Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Peach and Berry Mix

01 - 5 peaches, sliced into thick wedges
02 - 125 g fresh raspberries
03 - 75 g fine sugar

→ Topping Layers

04 - 90 g chilled butter, salted or plain
05 - 2 teaspoons milk
06 - 140 g regular flour
07 - 90 g fine sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
09 - Lemon zest from 1 fruit
10 - 2 tablespoons almond flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 160°C if it's a fan type, or 170°C if it's a regular one.
02 - Slice peaches into thick chunks and toss them in a bowl with raspberries and sugar. Pour the mix into an oven-safe dish and leave it for now.
03 - In a big bowl, stir together flour, sugar, and baking powder. With your hands, break up the chilled butter into the dry mixture until the texture looks crumbly, with a few pea-sized bits. Stir in milk and bring the dough together—it should feel like soft cookie dough.
04 - Plop the dough in dollops over the fruit mixture in the dish. Sprinkle over almond flakes and, if you like, a little crunchy sugar.
05 - Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until you see bubbling juices at the edges and the topping turns golden and soft.

# Notes:

01 - You don’t need to peel the peaches—leave the skin on for extra texture, or peel them if you’d rather.
02 - If your dough’s feeling too dry, just splash in a bit more milk to fix it.
03 - Great topped with ice cream or custard—or enjoy it straight from the dish.
