Pears & Blue Cheese Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Key Components

01 - 4 pears, ripe and cut in half with cores removed
02 - 1 tbsp melted butter
03 - ½ cup assorted fresh berries (like blackberries, raspberries, or blueberries)
04 - ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
05 - ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles
06 - 2 tbsp honey for sweetness
07 - Optional: small sprigs of thyme for decor

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C). Use parchment paper on a baking tray or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
02 - Lay the halved pears, with the cut side facing up, on the prepared sheet. Coat them with melted butter to achieve a slight golden color when they're baked.
03 - Let the pears bake for around 15-20 minutes until soft but still firm. Take them out and allow them to cool just a bit.
04 - Scatter the berries on top of each pear half, and then follow with the crumbled blue cheese. They'll soften slightly from the pears' heat.
05 - Drizzle the honey lightly over the pears and sprinkle the walnuts for extra flavor and crunch.
06 - If you like, add a thyme sprig on top for a final touch. Enjoy them warm or once they've cooled to room temp.

# Notes:

01 - Switch blue cheese with goat or plant-based cheese to suit your needs.
02 - Sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds can replace nuts for an allergy-friendly option.
03 - Try pairing this dish with tea, Greek yogurt, or your favorite wine.
