Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ribeye steak or sirloin, thinly sliced (or use pre-sliced steak for convenience)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (or vegetable oil)
03 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
04 - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
10 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese (or American cheese)
12 - 10-12 egg roll wrappers
13 - Vegetable oil, for frying (or air fryer spray)
14 - Optional dipping sauce: ketchup, ranch dressing, or cheese sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions (and bell pepper, if using) and sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes, breaking it up into smaller pieces, until the steak is browned and cooked through. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly before adding cheese.
02 - Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing toward you (like a diamond shape). Place about 2 tablespoons of the steak and cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper. Sprinkle with a little shredded provolone or American cheese (for extra cheesiness). Fold in the sides of the wrapper, then roll up tightly, sealing the top edge with a bit of water to ensure it stays closed. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
03 - Deep Frying: Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the egg rolls in batches, turning occasionally, for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Air Frying: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the egg rolls with oil and air fry in batches for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
04 - Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce like ketchup, ranch dressing, or cheese sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Meat Options: You can use thinly sliced chicken or pork if you prefer. For a more traditional Philly cheesesteak flavor, ribeye is the best choice.
02 - Cheese Variations: Provolone and American cheese are typical, but you can mix in mozzarella, cheddar, or even a cheese sauce for extra creaminess.
03 - Freezing: You can freeze the assembled but uncooked egg rolls for later. To cook, either deep fry or air fry straight from the freezer, adding a couple of extra minutes to the cook time.
04 - Spicy Option: Add sliced jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling for a spicy kick.
