Smothered Chicken Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Skinless, boneless chicken breast pieces
02 - Minced fresh garlic
03 - Grated Monterey Jack cheese
04 - Full-fat cream
05 - Butter without salt
06 - Broth made with reduced sodium chicken stock
07 - Ground paprika
08 - Table salt
09 - Ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and give your baking dish a light coat of cooking spray to prevent sticking.
02 - In a big skillet over medium heat, melt some butter and cook the chicken breasts, seasoned beforehand, for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they’re golden.
03 - Toss the chopped garlic and paprika into the skillet, giving it a stir for a minute until you can smell the aroma.
04 - Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, letting it gently bubble as you scrape any good flavor bits from the bottom of the skillet.
05 - Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken and pop everything in the oven. Cook for 20-25 minutes without covering until it’s golden and the cheese is bubbling.
06 - Wait 5 minutes before cutting or serving the chicken. This step helps the flavors shine.

# Notes:

01 - Keep the chicken juicy by avoiding overcooking it. Let it rest before serving for better taste.
