Pineapple Spinach Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Smoothie Mix

01 - 1 small banana that's been frozen
02 - A cup of pineapple chunks, freshly sliced
03 - 3 to 4 cups of fresh spinach leaves
04 - A tablespoon of lime juice, freshly squeezed
05 - Put in 2 tablespoons of ground flax or chia seeds
06 - Use 4 to 5 ice cubes
07 - 1 cup of fresh, filtered water

# Instructions:

01 - Toss everything into a powerful blender like a Vitamix. Start blending slowly, then crank up the speed till it’s smooth. Shouldn’t take more than 45 seconds to a minute.

# Notes:

01 - If you want to keep it fresh, drink your smoothie right away. Otherwise, store it in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for a max of 12 hours. Make sure there’s no space for air at the top.
02 - Ingredients can be swapped around based on your taste. You could try replacing water with coconut milk, almond milk, or some Greek yogurt for extra creaminess and protein.
03 - Need more protein? Throw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder or a dollop of almond or peanut butter.
