Striped Bass Grill Butter (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Herb Butter

01 - 1/2 cup of butter or a butter substitute
02 - 2 tbsp of finely chopped fresh parsley
03 - 2 tbsp of minced fresh basil leaves
04 - 1 tbsp of minced fresh thyme
05 - 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper

→ Striped Bass

06 - 2-3 lb fillet of striped bass
07 - Salt and black pepper, as desired

# Instructions:

01 - Rub salt and pepper all over the striped bass fillet. Put it on a preheated, greased grill set to medium heat. Spread the herb butter over the fish, close the grill lid or cover the fish with foil, and keep basting with extra butter. Cook for 10-15 minutes per inch of thickness until the fish flakes easily. Use any remaining herb butter as a sauce when serving.
02 - Mix together the butter, chopped parsley, fresh thyme, minced basil, and ground black pepper. You’ll end up with about 3/4 cup of herb butter.
