Stuffed Dates Maple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons dark maple syrup (Grade A)
02 - 6 ounces mascarpone cheese
03 - 24 pitted Medjool dates
04 - 1/4 cup pecans, chopped very fine

# Instructions:

01 - Switch the broiler on and adjust the oven rack so it’s near the top.
02 - Cut each date open lengthwise and remove the pit. Stuff them with mascarpone and sprinkle the top with crushed pecans.
03 - Line a baking sheet with parchment and lay out the filled dates. Pour the maple syrup on top.
04 - Slide the tray under the broiler for roughly 3 minutes, just till you see some golden color. Keep an eye out so they don’t burn.
05 - Give the dates a minute or two to cool off before you eat. They’re tasty warm or at room temp.
06 - Pop any leftovers into the fridge. They’ll keep well for about 3 days.
