# Ingredients:

01 - 6 boneless chicken thighs (or preferred chicken cut)
02 - 1 inch ginger, julienned
03 - 1 tbsp garlic, minced
04 - 2 stalks green onions (white and green parts separated)
05 - 2 tbsp honey
06 - 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
07 - 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
08 - 1 tbsp sesame oil
09 - 1 tsp Chinese 5 Spice Powder
10 - 1 tbsp sambal oelek (garlic chili paste) - optional

# Instructions:

01 - Julienne ginger, mince garlic, slice green onions, separating white and green parts.
02 - In a bowl, combine ginger, garlic, white parts of green onion, honey, dark soy sauce, low-sodium soy sauce, sesame oil, Chinese 5 Spice Powder, and sambal oelek (if using). Mix well.
03 - Add chicken thighs to marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).
04 - Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken skin-side down in basket. Cook 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until 165°F (74°C).
05 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place chicken on baking sheet or in skillet. Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until 165°F (74°C).
06 - Garnish chicken with green parts of green onions. Serve hot with rice, noodles, or sides.
