Mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl until there are no lumps.

In a saucepan, toss in the soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sriracha. Give it a good mix.

Set the saucepan on medium heat. Let it simmer gently, making sure to stir now and then so it doesn't stick.

Gradually pour in the slurry while whisking the sauce. Keep stirring as it thickens up smoothly.
