Sweet Cut Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 egg.
02 - 1 cup sugar.
03 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.
04 - 1 cup salted butter (2 sticks).
05 - 3 tbsp milk.
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
07 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and get a baking sheet ready with parchment paper.
02 - Beat together butter and sugar till smooth. Stir in the egg, then add milk and vanilla. Slowly mix in flour and baking powder until dough comes together.
03 - Flatten dough on a floured countertop to your desired thickness (1/6-1/4 inch). Use cutters to create shapes and place them on your baking sheet.
04 - Cook for 5-8 minutes, keeping an eye out for browning edges. Let cool on the baking sheet for about 3-4 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
05 - Don’t toss leftover dough. Roll it out again, make more shapes, and bake.
